Prescience

 There is nothing so frustrating as attempting to convince someone whose company you enjoy very much that perhaps you, yourself, are just as fascinating and likeable as you find them. This is particularly frustrating when there are already certain obstacles preventing you from doing exactly that. It might make one, say, impatient.
