Techtastic

So, this is my first post ever using the Lynx web browser. Lynx is excellent. Lynx is amazing. Lynx is the reason that websites should be designed logically! Why, you ask? Because Lynx is a web browser you access via ssh. That’s right folks: I’m looking at nothing but text. But it’s smart text! Everything is colorcoded so I know what’s a link, what’s bold, what’s italic– it’s great. But I know what you’re thinking: why is she using a text web browser? Well, it’s the only one available to me at the moment. My computer’s b0rked again, and I’m booted up from the TechTool Pro Emergency Drive right now, so this is all I’ve got.

I hope not! The problem was that last time I never actually went and fixed the directory issues—I kept waiting to get a copy of Disk Warrior from the UAs, but they either claimed there wasn’t one or that they couldin’t find it. So yesterday I ran the disk repair utility on TechTool Pro for twelve hours. I’m going to keep hunting after that copy of Disk Warrior (I know it’s there!) and I’m also going to run every diagnostic I’ve got, to make sure everything’s fixed. If things are still messed up—well, let’s just say that I’ll be one unhappy camper.
